Cheah Bing Zhen is Ph.D. researcher at the Department of Mechanical Engineering, University of Malaya, Kuala Lumpur, Malaysia. He received his bachelor’s degree in Mechanical Engineering from University of Malaya in 2018. His current Ph.D. research focuses on the development of hybrid digital twin-based structural damage identification model for predictive maintenance. His research interest includes digital twin, machine learning, vibration, finite element analysis (FEA), modal analysis, virtual instrumentation and signal processing. He is registered as a Graduate Engineer with Board of Engineers Malaysia (BEM). He has 4 years experience in the construction industry, specialising in mechanical and electrical services.
