Prof. Zubaidah was a Professor at the Department of Civil Engineering, Universiti Malaya, Malaysia. She was the Ex-Director of UMEngSHM group. She graduated with honors in Mathematics and Applied Mathematics from the United States. She went on to do her Ph.D. in Civil Engineering (Structural Dynamics) at the University of Malaya. Her expertise includes Vibration, Inverse Problem, and Structural Health Monitoring. She has supervised masters and Ph.D. candidates in Construction Management, Civil/Mechanical Engineering to successful completion. She is an Associate Member of the Institution of Engineers Malaysia (IEM); a Life Member of Fulbright Alumni Association Malaysia (FAAM) and Malaysian Mathematical Society; a member of Technical Committee on Wind Loading for Building Structures.
