Dr. Siow Pei Yi is a Senior Lecturer at the Department of Mechanical Engineering, Universiti Malaya, Malaysia. Her research focuses on developing a hybrid modal-machine learning damage diagnosis scheme for structures. Research interests are structural health monitoring, machine learning, vibration, modal analysis, virtual instrumentation, computational mechanics, and signal processing. She is registered as a Graduate Engineer with Board of Engineers Malaysia (BEM). She has also been actively involved in industrial projects on structural and machinery vibration at semiconductor and on-shore oil, gas and petrochemical processing plants in Malaysia.
